Choose a car for your dates

Compare the listed town or county, seats, transmission and daily rate. Enter pickup and return dates to check availability. Vehicles marked strictly chauffeured, including Movers, require a driver and are excluded from the self-drive filter.

Understand the estimate

The vehicle estimate uses the listed daily price and number of hire days. Fuel, security deposits, mileage limits, delivery, insurance cover and excess are details to confirm with the provider or Kahayadrive before paying. A listed daily rate does not establish those terms.

Request, review, then confirm

Create an account, verify your email and submit a booking request. An operator reviews the arrangements. After approval, accept the booking and choose the available payment option. Verified M-Pesa payment reserves the vehicle; pay-at-pickup requests do not reserve it until collection is recorded.

Agree eligibility and handover requirements

Ask which licence and identity documents the provider requires, who may drive, where collection and return take place, and what happens if you return late. Kahayadrive does not publish a universal minimum driver age or licence-holding period.

Where can I collect a car?

Start with the location on each live listing. A listed vehicle is an option to enquire about, not a promise of service throughout its county. Confirm collection and any delivery fee for your actual route.

If your plans change

You can cancel an unconfirmed request in your dashboard. Contact the host or Kahayadrive about a confirmed booking. Refund amounts, cancellation deadlines and extensions need to be agreed for your hire; do not assume free cancellation.
